Good deed #484 – Perform Khutbah at nikah
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), following should be recited in Khutbah for marriages:
1. Innal-Hamdulillahi nasta’inuhu, wa nastaghfiruhu, wa na’auzu billahi min shururi anfusina, wa sayyi’ati a’malina, man yahdihi, fala mudilla lahu, wa manyudlil, fala hadiya lahu, wa ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasuluhu.
2. Then, Aayah No. 102 of Surah Aal-Imran (Chapter No. 3), Aayah No. 1 of Surah An-Nisa’ (Chapter No. 4) and Aayah No. 70 of Surah Al-Ahzab (Chapter No. 33).
These Qur’anic verses consist of the fundamental teachings regarding the family and social life. The scholars should give a brief and precise advice to the attendees in accordance with the Sunnah.
