Good deed #432 – Supplicate when leaving home
Anas (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported,
Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said,
“Whoever says (upon leaving his house):
`Bismillahi, tawakkaltu `alallahi,
wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah
(In the Name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, there is no might and no power except by Allah),’
it will be said to him: ‘You are guided, defended and protected.’ The devil will go far away from him”
A Muslim should say this du’aa :
Bismillaahi, tawakkaltu ‘alallaahi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata ‘ illaa billaah. (in the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, Whatever Allah wishes will be; there is no strength except from Allah) so he gets protected, secured, guarded and the devil steps away from him)
