Good Deed: #100 Love Allah

5:54 (Y. Ali) O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him..

2:165 (Y. Ali) Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah.: They love them as they should love Allah. But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah. If only the unrighteous could see, behold, they would see the penalty: that to Allah belongs all power, and Allah will strongly enforce the penalty.

2:177 (Y. Ali) It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah.fearing.

3:31 (Y. Ali) Say: “If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

21:90 (Y. Ali) So We listened to him: and We granted him Yahya: We cured his wife’s (Barrenness) for him. These (three) were ever quick in emulation in good works; they used to call on Us with love and reverence, and humble themselves before Us.

5:55 (Y. Ali) Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship).

5:56 (Y. Ali) As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph.

Anas (ra) narrates that: “Allah’s Messenger (saas) said: ‘Whoever has the following three qualities will have the sweetness of faith: The one who loves Allah and His Messenger (saas) more than anything else; the one who loves a person purely and solely for Allah’s sake; and the one who hates to return to unbelief after Allah has saved him, as he would hate to be thrown into the Fire.”(Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

The Prophet(SAW) said: “One of the supplications of Hazrat Dawud (as) was: ‘Allah, I beg of You Your love, the love of those who love You, and such conduct as should lead me to Your love. Allah, make Your love dearer to me than my soul and my family, and dearer than cold water.’” (At-Tirmidhi)

The prophet (SAW) said: Love Allah, because He nourishes and sustains you. Love me, because Allah loves me. (At-Tirmidhi)
