Alhamdulillah we are complete with the masjid makeover. We only require equipment to start a cooking class at the centre.

Prophet(SAW) said: “Whosoever shares in building a masjid for Allah, even if it is as small as a bird’s nest, Allah (S.W.T.) will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Ahmad)

    Masha-Allah
A masjid that is well used and in need of an upgrade.
The Moulanas and SHeikhs at Grasmere are doing sterling job there!

Salaams – may I make a suggestion. In respect of the labour cost, is it at all possible to arrange a team of volunteers who will assist in the tasks required. If I am not mistaken, it does not require major building works just some hard graft scraping filling and painting. Let me know if you think this idea can work. I think I may be able to organise a few people for this. That way whatever you receive in terms of donations can go to the materials required.

Also, I don’t have a credit card so how would I pay with my debit card? I see it says pay with credit card or debit card here but there’s no option to fill in the Debit card information.

Insha Allah, the mosque will be completed. Sameer has a very good idea: why not use volunteers from people who live near by? The rest can donate.

it is a great idea to get volunteers. we have opted to create a job and empower someone instead. As it is a masjid we want an expert to rather do the painting and repairing.
